A mini-tornado has blown up a storm at an Australian music festival. The sandstorm formed at Earthcore dance music festival on 29 November in Victoria.

In the video, uploaded to YouTube by Synaptic TV, festival-goers can be seen cheering the tornado and dancing with it as it makes it's way across the site. It has been called a "doofnado", in reference to the Australian slang "doof", meaning an outdoor techno rave in a rural area.

Earthcore is an annual dance festival that takes place in Pyalong every November, and is known as the Australian answer to Burning Man.

Such whirlwinds or dust storms are known colloquially in Australia as a willy-willy.
