Prince George performed his first official royal engagement –a crawl-about in Wellington, New Zealand, with ten babies of a similar age.

The other babies were all born within a few weeks of George's birthday and were carefully chosen to represent New Zealand society, including children of Maori, Samoan, Polish and Oriental descent and the daughter of two gay men.

Wearing a £75 pair of blue dungarees by British designer Rachel Riley, the prince seemed more interested in playing with new toys than meeting new playmates.
