Barack and Michelle Obama are dealing with issues of jealousy after the former FLOTUS received an offer to host a talk show, a new report claimed.

Sources told Globe Magazine, in its latest edition, that Barack Obama could not help but feel that Hollywood is favouring Michelle more than him now that he is no longer the most powerful man in America. An unnamed insider told the magazine, "Barack's rolling his eyes, saying it's tacky and not how they need to live."

The anonymous informant shared that Barack and Michelle Obama have been leading separate lives in the last couple of months. The mom of two is said to be based in Los Angeles, so she is closer to work, while the ex-POTUS is reportedly living on the East Coast near Capital Hill alone.

The tipster said to the entertainment news outlet, "She's always known that there's a big world of opportunity out there for her without Barack. He can kick and scream, but she's going to do what she wants. It's her time to shine."

It added, "Michelle and Barack prefer spending time away from each other. They would not divorce – not now before a midterm election – and probably not ever. They are working on an arrangement where they get space from each other – and stop getting on each other's nerves. But they're both incredibly stubborn – Michelle especially. If they aren't willing to compromise, then their relationship isn't going to see any improvement."

Reports have it that Barack Obama and Michelle have been feuding endlessly because of their daughters. Malia and Sasha are accused of maintaining a lavish lifestyle in Los Angeles, which the ex-FLOTUS wanted to stop and correct.

A tattler claimed, "They argue constantly about the way those girls live and spend money on fancy restaurants and clothes and spas."

Globe reported that Barack Obama does not care about how Malia and Sasha are spending money on fancy restaurants and high-end fashion pieces. After all, the two former first daughters are using their own money and have even worked hard to afford the things they like.

Both Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have yet to comment on the reports saying that the ex-POTUS is jealous of his wife's upcoming television gig. So, avid followers of America's former first couple should take all these unverified claims with a pinch of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
