Arsenal and Manchester United have been handed a massive boost in making an approach for Pedro after the Barcelona forward confirmed summer transfer talk is "logical."
The Spain international has seen his first team appearances being limited and has started in only 12 league games this season. Luis Enrique has fielded Luis Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi to lead his side's attacking division.
Pedro's lack of playing time has seen him being linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal, United and Chelsea all reportedly interested in securing his services. The 27-year-old feels he is no longer one of the key players for the Catalan club.
"When you do not have playing time, of course you do not feel one of the important players," Pedro told Al Primer Toque.
"Playing few games, not many minutes, it is normal that there can be talk of leaving, that is logical. It is the same for all players, everyone wants to play. When you do not play in important games, then it is a difficult situation."
His latest comments will alert the top Premier League clubs, who have long been monitoring his situation at Nou Camp. According to Spanish publication Sport, Pedro has not made a decision over his future and wants to focus on helping Barcelona win silverware this campaign.
The forward will have one year left on his contract in the summer and that's when he will decide where his future lies. The arrival of Suarez from Liverpool has seen him drop further down the pecking order as the Uruguayan is preferred ahead of Pedro.
Earlier reports suggest the Barcelona star is keen on making a switch to the Emirates. Should this be true, it will be a blow for United and Chelsea, who have also maintained their interest in signing Pedro.
It is not for the first time the Spanish attacker has spoken about his future. Even in the past, Pedro had admitted that he would take a decision on his future at the end of the season.
"It's obvious that it's difficult to nail down a place in the team. I have had few opportunities this season but I have to wait and when they do come, take advantage of them. I'm going through a difficult moment in the team. I'll evaluate my future at the end of the season and I'll speak to the club," Pedro said.
