Amid media frenzy over the birth of Beyonce Knowles' baby, there are rumours that the singer has ordered a diamond-crested pram for her newborn.

According to celebrity tracking website, celebs gather.com, the singer and her rapper husband Jay-Z have already placed orders for the pram with a Dubai-based designer. The order was reportedly placed nearly a month ago and the identity of the designer is being kept a secret.

They are believed to have ordered two versions of the pram, one in pink and the other in blue, just to avoid speculation about the sex of the baby.

"Bey has asked a Dubai-based designer to make a diamond and crystal-encrusted pram estimated to be worth around US $50, 000," the website reported, quoting a source familiar with the move.

Beyonce reportedly checked into the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York under the name "Ingrid Jackson" on Friday night. The entire fourth floor of the hospital has been rented by Bey and Jay for $1.3 million, the New York Daily News reported, quoting an employee of the hospital.
