Blac Chyna, a former erotic dancer who is reportedly dating Rob Kardashian, the brother of reality TV star Kim Kardashian, was arrested for public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance. She pleaded not guilty, according to Texas court records.
She was later released on an $8,000 bond posted by a lawyer the following day. People magazine reported that Rob had reportedly travelled to Texas to pick up Chyna. She is due back in court in Texas at the end of February.
She was earlier kicked off for "causing a disturbance" aboard a Texas flight. Police had to escort the 27-year-old from the flight following the incident at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Friday (29 January).
The Austin Police Department confirmed in a statement that Cyna, whose real name is Angela Renee White was removed from the plane following a disturbance she caused. The police also did not say what controlled substance was found on Chyna, except to say that it was "one gram or more but less than four grams."
Details of the altercation has not been officially released but it has been reported in US media that she was arrested after getting into an argument with a flight attendant. She was reported to have travelled from Los Angeles International Airport into Texas, and was on a stopover in Austin before taking another flight to London.
E! the network that hosts the Kardashian reality shows, has confirmed that Rob and Chyna are dating. Their relationship has caused a stir within the Kardashian clan. Kylie Jenner is dating rapper Tyga, who is also the father of Chyna's son, King Cairo.
