Blackburn Rovers will take on Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter final replay at Ewood Park on Wednesday.

Where to Watch Live

Kick-off is at 7.45pm BST. Live coverage of the match will be available on BT Sport 1.

Overview

The replay has been scheduled between the two sides as their clash at Anfield ended in a goalless draw in March. A win for either side will see them make it to the last four of the competition.

The winning side will take on Aston Villa in the second semi final of this season's FA Cup clash. The other two semi finalists, Arsenal and Reading will face each other on 18 April. The Gunners are the holders and are two wins away from retaining the cup.

Blackburn come into this fixture after their comfortable 3-0 victory over Leeds United in the Championship clash on Saturday. Gary Bowyer will be looking to take advantage of the Reds' poor form during the FA Cup clash on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Liverpool suffered a massive blow in their bid to finish the season in top four after their latest 4-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal. The loss comes after their 2-1 defeat against Manchester United at Anfield.

Brendan Rodgers will be looking to bounce back with a win against Blackburn. The Northern Irishman will not be able to call three of his key players Steven Gerrard, Martin Skrtel and Emre Can, who are all suspended for the clash.

What Managers Say

Gary Bowyer: "I have brought Paul Taylor here to create and score goals. He's looked fantastic in training and there's a real opportunity for him between now and end the end of the season."

Brendan Rodgers: "I doubt we will be in the top four now, there's too much ground to make up. That's the realistic view. It will be difficult to qualify for the Champions League. Now we must concentrate on the FA Cup."
