Mayor London Boris Johnson has reitterated claims he made in a national newspaper that the invasion of Iraq by the United Kingdom was a failure that has led to the country's current crisis, and that then Prime Minister Tony Blair's defence of the 2003 invasion as "unhinged".

Speaking at the star of London Technology Week, the Mayor of London explained the comments he made in the Daily Telegraph in which he described the invasion as a "tragic mistake," and that by denying it, the former Prime Minister was "mad".
