It looks like Britney Spears may be the next celebrity to ride shotgun with James Cordon. Page Six reports that the Princess of Pop will take part in Carpool Karaoke this month and has already secretly filmed her epic segment.
According to Hollywood Life, the Hit Me Baby singer will sing some of her biggest hits with The Late Late Show host. "She filmed a really fun Carpool Karaoke and sang a new song, 'Hit Me Baby', 'Stronger' and 'Sometimes' and other songs that will appear only online and not at all," a source said. "They did a bunch to make it come out great and give them plenty of options to work with."
Carpool Karaoke, which sees Corden driving various celebrities around as they sing along to the radio, has proved somewhat of an internet sensation since it debuted as a spin-off on CBS's The Late Late Show.
The comedian has enjoyed his fair share of high-profile names including Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, One Direction and Adele.
Back in July, US First Lady Michelle Obama sat in Corden's passenger seat and showed off her karaoke skills and enjoyed a good gossip. The pair also sang along to Beyoncé's Single Ladies while demonstrating the signature hand gesture in unison.
A spot on the hit show would be great promo for Spears ahead of the release of her new album, Glory, which will be unveiled on 26 August. The Late Late Show with James Corden airs on CBS.
