Police discovered two people dead and another two injured at a home in Dickens Avenue, Canterbury Google Streetview

A man has been arrested after two people were found dead and another two injured at a home in Kent. Police were called to a report of an altercation at a property in Dickens Avenue, Canterbury, at 7.39pm on Tuesday (29 March).

Officers discovered two people with fatal injuries, while two others were taken to hospital. Police said the victims and the man arrested at the scene were known to each other.

A crime scene remains in place while officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are establishing the circumstances of the incident. The identities of the victims have not yet been released and police are in the process of informing next of kin.

Witnesses at the scene reported seeing a man wearing grey tracksuit bottoms "covered in blood" with a bandage around his arm, according to Kent Online. Others say they saw paramedics spend 10 minutes working on a patient lying on a stretcher before taking them to hospital.
