Henrik Larsson rolled back the years at Parkhead last night, as the former Celtic striker bagged a hattrick for a Bhoys legends side in a 5-2 win over their Manchester United counterparts.

The charity match was organised as a tribute to former Celtic defender John Kennedy, with all proceeds donated to Oxfam's East Africa charity appeal.

A nostalgic air dominated proceedings in Glasgow with a loose sprinkling of TV personalities, Hollywood stars and former players providing the personnel for both sides.

Former Celtic manager Martin O'Neill took charge of a home squad including Larsson, Neil Lennon, John Hartson, Chris Sutton, Lubo Moravcik and Alan Thompson, joined actor Gerard Butler and fomer boxer Steve Collins.

Ex-Celtic and United midfielder Gordon Strachan helmed the away side, which had Roy Keane, Brian McClair, Dion Dublin and Dwight Yorke and various celebrities including comedian Patrick Kielty, television presenter Angus Deayton and boxer Nigel Benn.
