LAP 54/56 - A real shame for Verstappen as his engine gives way.

LAP 52/56 - Maldonado has retired from the race, rear break failure.

LAP 51/56 - 4 LAPS TO GO!! Kimi catching Vettel. 2 seconds between them.

LAP 49/56 - Button tries overtaking Maldonado but goes straight into the back of him. Alonso benefits and goes up to 13th place. Both the cars get going after the collision.

LAP 48/56 - A great battle between Button and Maldonado, the Briton comes out on top. Their battle gives Alonso a chance to close up.

LAP 47/56 - Hamilton is comfortable in the lead with Rosberg a lonely second. Vettel 3 seconds ahead of Kimi.

LAP 45/56 - As Kimi takes four tenths off of Vettel's time, Ricciardo makes a brilliant move on Ericsson

LAP 41/56 - Vettel struggling with his medium compound tyres, 8 secs back to Rosberg. But Kimi is catching him, just 2 secs behind him.

LAP 41/56 - Max Verstappen pulling some impressive moves, as commentator backs to him be future World Champion.

Maldonado spins!

LAP 38/56 - Vettel and Ferrari have no answer to Mercedes' pace at this stage of the race, as the German is falling behind giving Kimi a chance to catch his teammate.

LAP 37/56 - McLaren struggles continue as they set their aims to just finishing the race

LAP 35/56 - Kimi comes in for his final stop, as Massa also completes his.

Hamilton complaining about his seat getting hot, for the third time this weekend.

LAP 32/56 - Rosberg comes out ahead of Vettel. Hamilton in the lead with Kimi in second, both yet to make the stops.

LAP 31/56 - Hamilton is flying!! as Rosberg comes into the pits.

LAP 31/56 - Vettel comes into the pits for his final stop. Medium compound on his car. trying the undercut.

LAP 30/56 - Hamilton has been told to up his pace, as Ericsson and Ricciardo continue their for 11th place and finally the Australian gets it right.

Vettel's engineer asks him if he can go faster, to which the German replies 'I'm on the limit'

LAP 25/56 - Vettel in the undercut zone, but will have to make it a three stopper if he stops now. 30 laps on the medium compound will be difficult.

LAP 24/56 - Carlos Sainz has a problem, but he is staying out.

LAP 23/56 - The Ferrari's looking quicker on the second stint, unless the Mercedes' are managing their tyres for a longer second stint.

LAP 20/56 - Vettel, slowly but steadily catching Rosberg, as the German complains about Hamilton going to slow

LAP 20/56 - Verstappen takes Nasr for ninth place. Are we looking at a future World Champion in the 17-year-old

LAP 19/56 - Rosberg has told his engineer not to bother him after Hamilton did it last race.

LAP 18/56 - Mercedes looking comfortable as of now. All the top ten cars have completed their pit stops and everything remains as it was before the stops.

LAP 16/56 - Kvyat's race is over!! Engine failure!!

LAP 15/56 - Hamilton pits and goes on to the soft tyre as well. There is a race on!

LAP 13/56 - Grosjean pits, as radio talk suggests the medium tyres are struggling.

LAP 9/56 - Maldonado takes Nasr for eighth place, and Verstappen takes Ericsson for tenth.

But it was close between the Toro Rosso and Sauber driver, wonder how they didn't touch.
