Italy is eyeing up ways to stimulate its beleaguered economy and one of the avenues for reinvigoration is through architecture and design.

Speaking to IBTimes UK at Milan Design Week 2013 on camera is Christophe Pillet who designed creative thinktank Be Open's House of Senses installation. He tells us how hybridisation of architecture and design will be a key way to stimulate retail.

He also tells IBTimes UK that the need to create living spaces and new design should address sustainability and the need to be ecologically sound.
