After Philae successfully landed on comet 67P, the European Space Agency is set to announce the latest news on the lander and Rosetta mission.

The first pictures from the surface of the comet have been released, but a full panoramic view is expected to be provided during the briefing.

Experts will also provide updates on Philea's science mission. At present, it is believed Philae is about 1km from where it first landed and is getting about 90 minutes of sunlight every 12 hours, New Scientist reports.
