Met Police are looking for witnesses to come forward after a hit-and-run incident in east London killed a cyclist Reuters

A cyclist has died after being hit by a car believed to be racing another vehicle in east London.

Scotland Yard said the 32-year-old man was injured by a car that did not stop at the scene on Commercial Road at around 10.08pm last night (24 November).

The victim was taken to an east London hospital where he later died.

His next-of-kin has been informed.

The Met Police said the car involved in the collision has been located but officers would still like to speak with witnesses to the incident.
