David and Victoria Beckham have reportedly been preparing for baby number five. The former Spice Girls singer has allegedly increased her intake of folic acid that helps in preventing serious birth defects – a supplement recommended for those who are trying to conceive or are pregnant.

According to Daily Mail, David and Victoria want "just one last baby" and the mother-of-four has also boosted her spinach-heavy diet with broccoli and leafy greens, which are rich in folic acid.

It was rumoured that the former footballer was keen on having another child after daughter Harper's birth in 2011. However, the fashion designer, now 42, was reluctant at the time, but is believed to have changed her mind.

However, Gossip Cop reported that the claims are "not true". According to the website, in 2015 David, 41, had slammed a publication for questioning Victoria and his parenting skills for letting their daughter Harper, 4, use a pacifier.

"Everyone who has children knows that when they aren't feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best and most of the time it's a pacifier," David said, according to Gossip Cop.

"[People should] think twice about what you say about other people's children because actually you have no right to criticize me as a parent," David said.

Meanwhile, the celebrity couple's elder sons have already starting making their own mark and pursuing their own goals. The couple's eldest son, 17-year-old Brooklyn, is an aspiring model/photographer, while Romeo (13) has been modelling for a number of big fashion houses.

For now Cruz, 11 and Harper, 4, are simply enjoying childhood.
