Arkane Studios' stealth-action sequel Dishonored 2 is just over two weeks away from its anticipated 11 November release date, and ahead of that launch publisher Bethesda has released a stunning new trailer.

The live action trailer above stars Dishonored 2's protagonists Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano, and shows off a few of the unique abilities that players will be able to utilise to take on missions set in a gorgeous fantasy world.

It begins in a ballroom with Emily and her father surrounded by human guards and the clockwork soldiers that have featured in the game's marketing since it was first announced at Bethesda's E3 press conference in June 2015.

We're also introduced to one of the game's antagonists, Delilah, "a mad witch armed with powerful black magic" who has seized control of the throne that is rightfully Emily's.

The trailer is set to the song Take It All, by Ruelle.

An official synopsis for the game reads: "As either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, travel beyond the legendary streets of Dunwall to Karnaca – a once-dazzling coastal city that holds the key to restoring Emily to power. Armed with the mark of the Outsider and powerful new supernatural abilities, hunt down your enemies and forever alter the fate of the Empire."

In 2013 Dishonored was hailed as an instant-classic thanks to the depth of options it afforded players and the supernatural abilities that allowed players to perform breathtaking feats of ingenuity.

The sequel adds new abilities and Emily as a second playable character. Players will be able to select who they play as before each mission.
