England take on Germany for the international friendly scheduled between the two sides at Wembley on Tuesday evening.

Where to Watch Live

Kick-off is set for 8pm GMT. Live coverage is on ITV 1, UTV and ITV HD. Radio commentary of the game will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Overview

Roy Hodgson saw his side's 10-match unbeaten run come to an end with the last week's 2-0 defeat at the hands of Chile at Wembley. Barcelona star Alexis Sanchez's double, first one in the seventh minute and the second from the final kick of the game, saw England suffer a defeat in front of their home fans.

The Three Lions were without several of their key players, who missed the fixture due to injuries. England's performance against Chile was not up to the mark and Hodgson would be hoping his men would bounce back after registering a victory against Germany.

Meanwhile, Joachim Low's men enter this fixture after their 1-1 draw against Italy away from home. Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels gave an early lead in the opening minutes of the game though Ignazio Abate equalised for the 2006 World Cup winners.

Germany are unbeaten in the last six matches played in all competitions and their coach would be hoping to extend his side's run when they take on England at Wembley on Tuesday evening.

What Coaches Say

Roy Hodgson: "I am pretty sure that all of the XI will be anxious that they put any comparisons with Germany to bed and they will show they are every bit as good, and that is what I believe they will be."

Joachim Low: "I don't think that you should compare club and national teams, they are two different cups of tea. But at the same time I think England are very good at that. If you look at (Wayne) Rooney dropping deep, (Theo) Walcott and Sturridge, they are very good on the counter-attack. So yes it would suit England to play on the counter-attack, why not?"
