Daniel Ricciardo put his Red Bull Formula One car through its paces in Vienna on 22 April.

Australia's Ricciardo drove on the streets of Vienna in the RB8 at the Red Bull Show Run in front of the historic Vienna Rathaus.

Around 60,000 fans turned up for the event and watched on as Ricciardo performed a few donuts around the purpose-built arena.

"It's always unique driving in the city. Obviously the roads are a lot more dirty than a race track, there's a lot more dust, so it's very slippery – but it actually makes it better for these events, because we can spin the tyres easier and create a bit more of a show for the fans," Ricciardo said.

Ricciardo is seventh in the Formula One standings with 19 points after four races. The Australian, in his second year with Red Bull, is 74 points behind the world championship leader Lewis Hamilton.
