Check out the official synopses for episodes 4-8 HBO

Official synopses for Game Of Thrones season 5, episodes 4-8 are out. HBO released the official titles and descriptions for each of the next four episodes on 27 April.

Check out the descriptions below along with a brief analysis of what fans can expect. (via Winter is Coming)

Synopsis for next week's episode - Sons Of The Harpy reads:

"The Faith Militant grow increasingly aggressive. Jaime and Bronn head south. Ellaria (Indira Varma) and the Sand Snakes vow vengeance."

In next week's episode, we finally get to see Jaime and Bronn arrive in Dorne, and perhaps clash with Dornish fighters. This would be the first episode in which we meet the Sand Snakes.

Episode 5 titled - Kill The Boy synopsis:

"Daenerys makes a difficult decision in Meereen. Jon recruits the help of an unexpected ally. Brienne searches for Sansa. Theon remains under Ramsay's control."

With the title taken from a quote, "Kill the boy and let the man be born," from A Dance With Dragons - this sounds like an episode focused on Jon Snow. The blurb about Theon and Ramsay should worry fans as actor Alfie Allen (who plays Theon) promised that a terrible scene with Sansa comes at about the midway point of the season.

Episode 6 titled - Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken synopsis:

"Arya trains. Jorah and Tyrion run into slavers. Trystane and Myrcella make plans. Jaime and Bronn reach their destination. The Sand Snakes attack."

The episode title echoes the words of House Martell of Dorne. Fans waiting to see The Sand Snakes in action will be hopefully pleased.

Episode 7 titled - The Gift synopsis:

"Jon prepares for conflict. Sansa tries to talk to Theon. Brienne waits for a sign. Stannis remains stubborn. Jaime attempts to reconnect with family."

Will Sansa try to include Theon in what could be her revenge plot against the Boltons? Jaime's attempt to "reconnect" with family might mean that he'll try to steal away Myrcella in this episode.

Episode 8 titled - Hardhome synopsis:

"Arya makes progress in her training. Sansa confronts an old friend. Cersei struggles. Jon travels."

Reportedly, this episode took weeks to film leading to speculations that it will feature a major battle sequence. But it sounds like the actual battle will take place in episode 9, and the episode is merely the lead up.
