Everton youngster Gerard Deulofeu, who is on loan from Barcelona, has revealed that he is happy in the Premier League, giving some hope to The Toffees about extending his spell at Goodison Park for one more season.

Deulofeu initially struggled to get a place in Roberto Martinez's starting line-up, but in the last three games he has become a key player for Everton - scoring two goals and grabbing one assist.

After his last goal against Arsenal Martinez revealed that there is already an agreement to keep Deulofeu for a second campaign if Barcelona decide he is not ready to return to La Liga. However, the Spaniard claims that it is too soon to make a decision.

"Barcelona? I do not know, I just think in this season, and what happen in the future will come later. I'm happy at Everton. Now I'm here for a year, then I belong to Barcelona . I want to enjoy this experience," Deulofeu told Catalonian Radio Station RAC1 .

"I'm delighted to be at Everton and in the Premier League. Supporters are very respectful and always support you, even the opponents. Now I go to stadiums and play games that I only saw on tv before."

The 21-year-old believes that he is learning a lot in England and his loan at Everton is going to be very useful for his future.

"I think England will be a good experience for me, I'm improving my defensive skills. It will help me for my future career."

"I like living in Liverpool. It's quiet, you can have a normal life. It's very cold but I can deal with it." He added.

Deulofeu has also praised Martinez and although he understands that he is very young to play every game he hopes to win a place in the permanent line-up sooner rather than later.

"I understand. Since I came here I knew it was going to be difficult. I'm still young and I have a lot to learn. Roberto Martinez is dealing with this really well. It gives me confidence and I'm very happy. Let's see if I can play more regularly little by little."

However, Deulofeu's latest goal against Arsenal has also made a great impact in Spain. Reports in Catalonia suggest that Barcelona want him back in the summer to partner Lionel Messi and Neymar in next season.
