An arachnophobic family were shocked to find a huntsman spider inside the bag of salad they had just brought home from the supermarket. Huntsman spiders are venously but aren't thought to be dangerous to humans. They are also known as giant crab spiders due to their huge size.

Zoe Perry shared the video in which you can see the spider moving inside the salad bag, along with the message: "Hi Woolworths, Shopping as per usual for Italian Style Salad Mix.... get it home.... Mum goes to open the packet and we are greeted by....

Is this what's actually behind the "salmonella" callbacks? Kind Regards, An arachnophobic family"

Another family member, James Perry, posted another video of the spider on YouTube:

Woolworths in Australia replied to Zoe Perry's video with the message: "We're very concerned about this Zoe, and take incidents like this very seriously. Please let us know your phone number and state in a Private Message at http://www.facebook.com/messages/woolworths so that we can follow this up with you ASAP. Thanks."
