Athens map leaked to the press (News247)

A map of Athens said to display a number of Golden Dawn targets among left-wing organisations, football clubs and immigrant gathering sites has been leaked from the Greek police department.

Sites marked on the map include the offices of the Communist Organisation of Greece, Syriza (the main opposition party), football club AEK, which has a large anti-fascist following, and several cafés and parks where immigrants meet in large numbers.

The map, which depicts the Exarcheia district of the capital, also lists each of the sites as "targets".

"An incident of mass terror targeting the enemies of these fascists could be the precursor of a larger showdown with the fascist Golden Dawn," said leftist site Kasamaproject.

Detectives investigating the party have recovered numerous incrementing photos and videos on personal computers, mobile phones and data storage sticks at the houses of Golden Dawn leader Nikos Michaloliakos, party spokesman Ilias Kasidiaris and other lawmakers.

Some images leaked to the press revealed Golden Dawn's close ties with Nazi ideology, something the party has long denied.

Among the material was video footage of a Golden Dawn member conducting a propaganda seminar for children and teaching them how to draw a swastika.

One photo showed a child mimicking a Nazi salute while others showed showed party members wearing Ku Klux Klan outfits and engaged in paramilitary exercises in the countryside.

Kasidiaris, Michaloliakos and another MP have been detained in pre-trial custody since September, following a crackdown on the far-right group that followed the killing of anti-fascist rapper Pavlos Fyssas.
