Daft Punk are preparing to perform with Stevie Wonder at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

The French electronic duo, consisting of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalte, will take to the stage with the soul legend during their performance later this month.

They will be also be joined by their Get Lucky collaborators Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers.

It will be Daft Punk's first televised performance since 2008, when they teamed up with Kanye West at the same ceremony.

The robotic pair may have a memorable night after being nominated for four awards. They are up for Record of the Year and Best Pop Group Performance for their summer smash, Get Lucky, and Album of the Year and Best Dance/Electronica Album for Random Access Memories, released in May 2013.

"Details of the performance are still being worked out," said Ken Ehrlich, executive producer of the Grammys. "But the idea of having the exclusive television performance by this iconic band is something we're very, very excited about.

"It will be a collaborative and celebratory stage performance that honours their multi-nominated music."

Other acts set to perform at this year's Grammy's include P!nk, Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons, while Jay Z, Robin Thicke, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry.

The Grammy Awards is scheduled to take place at the Staples Centre ceremony in Los Angeles on 26 January.
