Rockstar Games has reportedly announced that it will release its first GTA 5 Online downloadable content (DLC) dubbed as "The Beach Bum Pack" next month, along with several new items and activities.

"Coming in early November will be the first add-on content update, the Beach Bum Pack which will bring all-new beach themed vehicles and new weaponry that you'll be able to use in both GTA Online and Story Mode," states Rockstar on its newswire section.

"Plus new customisation options for your GTA Online character including new tats, hairstyles and more. We'll also be adding lots of brand new action-packed Jobs to play with Gang Attacks, Survivals, Last Team Standings, Parachutes, Deathmatches and Races that will have you bloodying up the waters and coastlines of the finest beach resorts across Los Santos and Blaine County," adds the game developer.

According to Cinema Blend, the game developer will also be releasing the first part of GTA Online Content Creator along with the DLC as a free download. The Content Creator will enable players to create and share custom Deathmatch and Race Jobs. The best of the lot will be chosen as "Rockstar Verified" to be featured on the Rockstar Newswire, which will also become part of upcoming GTA Online Social Club events.

With the Social Club Event weekends poised to kick off in November, Rockstar has revealed that players can win special rewards and bonuses for participating. As part of the reward programme, players will be eligible to receive special in-game discounts or rare gear.

More details about GTA Online events such as new GTA 5 story mode, multiplayer heists, Capture the Flag and content updates will be revealed next week.

The GTA Online events will be accompanied by a live-stream show by Rockstar on its Twitter and Facebook page, besides the Social Club Events page.

Contrary to its earlier commitment to give away $500,000 worth in-game money for GTA Online players in October (as compensation for its service launch problems), Rockstar has delayed the release of GTA$ surplus package to ensure that the progression issues are fully resolved before the roll-out begins.

In other words, the surplus in-game cash will be delivered along with the next title update that is coming next week.
