GTA V for PC

GTA V has been out on the PS3 and Xbox 360 for a while now. Most players have finished the game and have started enjoying other aspects of it such as GTA Online. However, the game's PC fans have not got a taste of the action yet and are eagerly awaiting the release of the PC version.

There is a good chance that it is not coming out until March 2014. Here are three main reasons why.

1) GTV V leaked for consoles but not for PCs

Prior to its launch, the game's console version leaked on a host of Torrent sites, but the PC version is nowhere in sight. This could be an indicator that it is still being worked on.

2) Date set by retailer

A Norwegian retailer's pre-order page had said that GTA V for PC would release on the 18 March. While there is no guarantee that this information could be accurate, such leaks from retailers usually turn out to be true.

3) Rockstar wants to cash in on popularity

Even though the console version's sales hit $1bn, the publisher, Rockstar, stands a chance to make more money from the title upon the launch of a PC version of the game. Also, owing to the fact that a petition for the PC version of the game has raised close to a million signatures, there is a possibility that Rockstar will be giving fans a PC version.

Until recently, Rockstar has refrained from talking about the PC version of the game. It even went to the extent of refusing to acknowledge that a PC version of the game was in the works. However, recently, the developer has started responding to fans with this message: "Keep an eye out for info on that on our newswire page: http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire ."
