After revealing herself as Caitlyn Jenner to the world via the Vanity Fair cover picture, the former Olympic champion will allow millions of her fans to see her transition from Bruce Jenner to "Cait" in the new docu-series produced by E!

In a promotional video for the eight-episode reality TV show I Am Cait, the 65-year-old former Olympian, declared that "she is the new normal".

Jenner offered a brief glimpse into her life after she wore makeup and drove through Malibu with her girlfriends.

"So many people go through life and they never deal with their own issues, no matter what the issues are," Jenner said in the video. "Ours happen to be gender identity, but how many people go through life and just waste their entire life because they just never deal with themselves to be who they are," she added.

Caitlyn's gender transition has inspired many of her fans around the world, and this was visible after she garnered a record one million followers within a day of her debuting on Twitter.

CBS news reported that the docu-series might be a game changer for E! Network, as many advertisers are showing interest in the programme.

"I will guarantee you that there will be increased demand for the show," Shari Anne Brill, CEO of media strategy and consulting firm Shari Anne Brill Media told the news website.

"The premiere of this show will probably [be] the highest rated show that E! has seen in a long time. Clearly, there is money to be made," Brill added.

E! Network will premiere the hour-long first episode of the docu-series I Am Cait on 26 July 2015.
