At least four people were injured when a leopard strolled into a school in the Kundalahalli area of India's southern Karnataka state early on 7 February. CCTV cameras captured images of the big cat wandering in the premises of a school, 25km from the state capital Bengaluru.

The footage shows the feline attacking a man near a swimming pool and wondering around hallways in one of the school's main buildings. Forest officials and local police launched an operation to capture the animal, which was tranquilised late in the evening. The last time a leopard was seen in the area was in 2012.
