Apple will have a busy month in September with new reports suggesting that the next generation iPhone will be announced and launched in the same month.

According to the latest revelation by Chinese site TechChina, Apple will announce iPhone 6 on 15 September and it will go on sale on 25 September.

China will be one among the first nations to receive iPhone 6 and hence, the purported 19 September release could be for countries outside of Asia, explains Gforgames.

As for the pricing, the 4.7in iPhone 6 will cost 5288 yuan (£498) in China. This is similar to the current price of iPhone 5s 16GB variant in China.

Furthermore, the new pricing matches to that of a previous report, which said the 32GB variant of iPhone 6 with smaller screen would carry a similar price tag.

The report further suggests the 16GB iPhone 6 with 5.5in screen will be called "iPhone Air" and it will cost 5998 yuan (£564).

If this rumour turns out to be true, the 4.7in iPhone 6 16GB model will be slightly more than £60 compared to the 5.5in iPhone 6, which has the same storage capacity.

Meanwhile, network operators such as China Mobile and China Unicom are reportedly testing the iPhone 6 prototype on 4G network.
