Overview

Mumbai Indians will be aiming to be the first side to win the IPL on three occasions having won it in 2013 and 2015, and they will be one of the favourites to make it to the play-offs having retained the team's core during the recent auction.

Rohit Sharma will lead the side under the tutelage of an experienced coaching setup, which involves Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Shane Bond and Jonty Rhodes. They also have match winners in all-rounders Kieron Pollard and Corey Anderson, who can contribute in all three aspects of their game.
