A Facebook pagecalling for Israelis to kill a Palestinian 'terrorist' every hour until the three Israeli teenagers that were allegedly abducted are returned to their families has gathered more than 17,000 likes so far.

The campaign, which features a profile pic of Palestinian unnamed faces in crosshairs, was started the day after 16-year-olds Naftali Frenkel, Gilad Shaar and 19-year-old Eyal Yifrach disappeared near an Israeli settlement in the West Bank on their way back from lessons.

It appeals to Israelis to eliminate "terrorists" until the three are found.

Israel has accused Islamist militant group Hamas of abducting the teens. IDF troops have arrested 150 Palestinians, including leading Hamas members such as parliament speaker Abdel Aziz Dweik and Hamas founder Hassan Yousef and former ministers.

Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas called Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu - the first conversation in over a year. "The Hamas kidnappers came from territory under Palestinian Authority control and returned to territory under Palestinian Authority control," Netanyahu told Abbas.

Abbas later released a statement condemning the "series of events over the last week, beginning with the kidnapping of the three Israeli teens and ending with a series of Israeli violations".

It referred to the killing of a 21-year-old Palestinian during a raid in al-Jalazon refugee camp, on the edge of Ramallah, as part of a massive manhunt following the kidnapping.
