The first song from Michael Jackson's posthumous album, Xscape featuring Justin Timberlake, made its debut during the iHeart Radio Music Awards and has hit the right cords among music lovers.

The latest song from the posthumous album, Xscape 'Love Never Felt So Good' has a 1980s-style disco feeling with fans describing the duet as 'a breath of fresh air' by the 'dream team' and a perfect tribute to the king of pop.

The soulful duet song was originally written by Paul Anka and Jackson in 1983. The Jackson recorded song got a makeover this year with Timberlake's voice that has mesmerised music lovers since its release.

The John McClain produced song "has a magic combination of the new and the original production that retains the track's analog, early 80s feel, while also sounding right at home with the disco-soul inflected music of today," music company Epic Label described the duet in its news release, News8000 reported.

The latest album Xscape honours the legendary pop star and will feature eight unheard songs recorded by the Beat It singer between 1983 and 1999. The album will be released on 13 May.

Since the online debut of the Jackson and Timberlake duet Love Never Felt So Good, the video has gone viral on the internet and has attracted three million views and counting.

Meanwhile, fans took to twitter to remember the pop star fondly and express their gratitude to both the singers for the beautiful song.
