Katy Perry planning a family with Orlando Bloom? Singer says 'children are becoming a big focus'

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's relationship is stronger than ever and it seems like the Roar hit-maker could be ready to have children with the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor, whom she has been dating since January.

The 31-year-old singer has revealed that "children to me are becoming a big focus" as she shared her some time with them at the Once Upon a Time Gala for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles on Saturday (15 October).

"I see the amazing thing of birth and children and the vulnerability and we just have to take care of them and how, how big of an impression we have. We have such a responsibility," the songstress told E! News.

Speaking about helping her sister deliver her second child Perry said, "I don't even have mine but I see it in my sister's kids and just how much nurturing and love they need."

Previously a source had told the celebrity news website that the couple had been thinking of settling down and having children together.

"They are in love and happier than ever. [Orlando] would like to get engaged to [Katy] before the year is up," the source said.

Although Perry reportedly suffered emotionally during her divorce from Russell Brand in 2011, she still believes she has a second chance at marriage in future.

"[Marriage and children] is something Katy has always wanted when she met the man she was ready to settle down with," the source said.

Perry and Orlando were first romantically linked when they were spotted getting cosy at The Weinstein Company and Netflix Golden Globes after-party in January. The couple were spotted kissing at the Coachella music festival in California in April and were spotted getting intimate on a luxury yacht during their time at Cannes in May.

Perry previously dated John Mayer, while Orlando split from his wife Miranda Kerr.
