The reality star has denied reports she is set is wed boyfriend George Kay.

Kerry Katona has denied fresh rumours that she is preparing to walk down the aisle for the third time.

A report in the Sunday Mirror had claimed that the 32-year-old reality star's toyboy lover George Kay was planning to pop the question during an forthcoming trip to Dubai.

"George told Kerry he's ready to pop the question. Kerry's been on tenterhooks for the past month," a source said.

"She was certain he was going to do it this week after Atomic Kitten's gig in London. But they fly to Dubai next week and George will propose there. She will be thrilled."

But the former Atomic Kitten singer has gone on to Twitter to set the record straight.

"Omg just read the Sunday Mirror," she tweeted her 204,000 followers. "Where do they get them from? It says we've only been together 2 months lol @mrgsjkay #7months xxxx."

A spokesperson told the Daily Mail: "The rumours are untrue. Things are going well with George and Kerry, he is a top lad, great for Kerry and great with the children.

"However, they are not rushing into anything other than looking forward to their first holiday together. It's far too early to be talking about things like marriage proposals and weddings."

Katona was previously married to former Westlife star Brian McFadden and taxi driver Mark Croft.

Among her children, Molly, 10, and nine-year-old Lilly-Sue are from her marriage to McFadden, while Croft is the father of Heidi, five, and three-year-old Max .
