Overview

Kings XI Punjab have already made it to the last four of the Champions League T20 after winning the first three matches of the group stages. The Indian Premier League side registered victories over Hobart Hurricanes, Barbados Tridents and the last one being over Northern Knights.

In the previous fixture, George Bailey's side scored a mammoth total of 215 runs from 20 overs. In reply, the Knights failed to cross 100 as they were bowled out for 95 with just over four overs to spare.

Kings XI registered a 120 runs victory and a win with such a huge margin has also improved their Net Run Rate, which could help them maintain their top spot in Group B even if they lose the last match and the Hurricanes go on to win their clash against Barbados Tridents.

Meanwhile, Cape Cobras need a win to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the semifinal. However, just a win will help their cause as it will also depend on the result from Tridents and Hurricanes.

If the Australian side manages to win, then the result of the second game will not have any impact in the two teams making it to the next stage. However, a defeat for Hurricanes will give the Cobras hope of making it to the last four of the Champions League T20.
