As the new generation of royals William and Kate wait for the birth of their first child, the issue of succession and marrying a catholic has been changed , with the announcement of a ground breaking bill in Parliament.

Tom Brake the deputy leader in the House of Commons explained what the bill would change. He said

He then went on to say what the impact would be for the Royal couple and their child in relation to the throne.

By removing these two pieces of historic discrimination this is further proof that the monarchy is modernising for the new royal age.
