Following Rita Ora's cameo in the Fifty Shades Of Grey movie, it looks like another pop star has caught the acting bug. Lily Allen is reportedly set to star in the sequel of the S&M bondage flick.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Hard Out Here hitmaker recently met up with director Sam Taylor-Johnson at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood, where the duo chatted for 90 minutes about a possible role.

"They were definitely making some plans. They are friends, and move in the same circles in London, they're in that trendy set. Lily would be the perfect person to work on the next Fifty Shades movie," a source said.

Although Allen's rep claims the reports are "untrue", insiders insist that film executives think she would be perfect for the role.

"She is cool and young, and would bring a new edge to it, especially after all of the rows that have supposedly gone on behind the scenes," another source added.

"Lily is an extremely talented and versatile star who would do a fantastic job."

It had previously been reported that Allen, whose acting credits include 1998 biopic Elizabeth, was house hunting in Los Angeles while she works on her new music.

Meanwhile, Jamie Dornan has confirmed that he will reprise his role as Christian Grey in the sequel to Fifty Shades Of Grey following reports that his wife Amelia Warner was not keen on his role as the domineering, BDSM-loving businessman.

"Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film."
