Liverpool take on Barcelona in their final International Champions Cup game at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday (6 August).
Where to watch live
Kick-off is at 5.15pm BST. Live coverage in the United Kingdom will be available on Sky Sports 1 and 1 HD. The match will also be broadcast live on LFCTV GO.
Liverpool are set to play their eighth pre-season game; something no other team in the Premier League has done thus far. It is the first of a double header, which will see them take on Mainz 05 in Germany less than 24 hours after they face Barcelona. Jurgen Klopp has been pushing his team hard during the off-season as he looks to get them in peak fitness for the start of the season, which sees them take on Arsenal in their Premier League season opener.
The German manager has a few injury concerns in his defence going into the start of the season, but will hope the next week following their final game against Mainz on Sunday (7 August) will give his team enough time to recuperate before they return to the Emirates Stadium on 14 August.
Barcelona, on the other hand, have played just two pre-season friendlies thus far and have won both. Their first clash was against Celtic, while their most recent encounter was with Premier League champions Leicester City, which they won 4-2. Luis Enrique is likely to field his strongest line-up, which will see Luis Suarez and Javier Mascherano go against their former side at Wembley.
