Hollywood actress Megan Fox was recently seen stocking up on fresh fruit and vegetables, along with her husband, Brian Austin Green, at the local Whole Foods supermarket. In an interview with Amica magazine, Fox admitted that she lost an extreme amount of weight, following a strict vegan diet.

"For a year and a half, until about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables," said Fox, in the interview.

She was also quizzed about her tattoo - a tribute to former Hollywood star Marilyn Monroe, to which she said that was planning to remove it, since it has "a negative character, as she suffered from personality disorders and was bipolar."

"I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life,' Fox added.

The tattoo isn't the only body art the brunette is (was) sporting. Apparently, Fox even had a navel piercing, back when she was 16.
" (I) did it when I was 16-years-old because I was a fan of Britney Spears. The only time I tried to imitate someone else. But then I thought it was tacky and so I removed it when I turned 20," she told Amica.

In total, Fox has nine tattoos, including a quote on her shoulder that reads: "We will all laugh at gilded butterflies' and a tribal symbol on her left wrist. Another tattoo, etched in tribute to Mickey Rourke, her co-star in "Passion Play", over her rib cage, reads: "Those who danced were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."

"Mickey is such a beautiful, wonderful human being. He's so genuine and so sweet and so talented. I just love him to death.I actually got a tattoo that is sort of in honour of him. It's on my ribs," Fox gushed to MTV.com

Fox is all set to star as Mary Jane in the forthcoming film "Friends with Kids".
