Overview

The Aces come into the game on the back of consecutive losses to the Singapore Slammers and the Manila Mavericks in the second leg of the 2014 IPTL in Singapore.

It was only the second loss in the competition for the Indian Aces and they will be keen to avenge their defeat to the Mavericks in front of their home crowd in Delhi.

The Aces will be boosted by the arrival of their star players, Roger Federer and Pete Sampras, but they will not play on day 1. However, they will be available for selection for the next round of fixtures.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks have had a good run of recent form and find themselves tied on 17 points with the Singapore Slammers in second place in the overall standings just three points shy of the table toppers the Micromax Indian Aces.

The Manila based team will hope to continue their good form and dominance over the Aces, and will look to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to lead them to another victory, which will close the gap to the leaders at the top.
