With just one episode to go for the finale, Mistresses season 3's drama has been amped up with Karen's pregnancy and Joss getting arrested for Luca's murder.
Episode 11 is titled Guilt By Association and will air on Thursday, 20 August on ABC.
The official synopsis reads as follows:
April's guilt about Daniel leads to trouble in her relationship with Blair which ultimately brings her closer to Lucy. Karen tells Alec and Vivian about the baby and despite Alec's initial shock there seems to be some hope that they can form a modern kind of family, until Vivian staggers Karen with the news of her own. Daniel's mysterious tape turns out to be surveillance from the neighbor's camera which proves to complicate matters for Calista. Just when things are looking up for Joss, she's stunned to learn that the cops think she and Calista conspired to kill Luca together.
In the last episode, Joss was arrested for the premeditated first-degree murder of Luca, after Calista (Jennifer Esposito) fed the cops "incriminating details" to make Joss look like a cold-blooded killer. But going by the synopsis of episode 11, Joss and Calista are both now prime suspects, as the cops believe they conspired to kill Luca together.
Besides, Karen's troubles are far from over. She reveals to Alec (Ed Quinn) and Vivian (Sonja Bennett) that she is pregnant with their baby. The doctor was involved in a threesome relationship with the married couple. Despite the couple's initial shock at the news, they may come to an agreement to have a modern kind of family in the upcoming episode.
Will Joss prove her innocence? Will Karen have to raise the baby alone? We will find out in episode 11.
