Honda rider Marc Marquez took pole for the 2015 Indianapolis Grand Prix and will start the Sunday's race from the front.

Qualifying Review

Marquez was impressive on Saturday as he was the fastest during FP3, FP4 and also qualifiers. The Spaniard clocked a time of 1:31.884s to take pole position for Sunday's race. In the last four years, the rider who took pole has gone to win the race.

The defending champion will also be looking for another win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. His Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa was 0.171s behind and will start the race from the second spot.

Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo was third after clocking a time of 1:32.186s. He, along with Marquez and Pedrosa, will lock horns for the front row. LCR rider Cal Crutchlow was fourth, while Tech 3 rider Bradley Smith was sixth.

Lorenzo's Yamaha teammate Valentino Rossi managed to finish in the top 10 as he was eight with a time of 1:32.511s.
