Celine Dion once again reminded everyone why she is the queen of music as she brought the Billboards Awards 2017 to a standstill with a breathtaking performance of her song My Heart Will Go On.

The singing legend mesmerised audiences as she revisited the Oscar-winning song to commemorate its 20th anniversary during the award show that was held on 21 May at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.

The French-Canadian singer chose to wear an angelic white gown with enormous sleeves that almost was iceberg-like in structure. Dion sang the mighty number while scenes from the Oscar-winning film featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet played in the background.

Co-host Vanessa Hudgens and Ludacris were speechless after the stellar performance as the former admitted she had tears in her eyes while listening to Dion's powerful rendition of her classic. "It's going to be hard to top that moment," the American hip-hop artist said after the performance while Hudgens said she was "crying".

Her impressive vocal range and performance received a thunderous standing ovation that continued for a minute, which made the singer emotional. She is still reeling from the death of her husband Rene Angelil and her brother last year. Twitter was deluged after the 49-year-old Grammy award-winning singer's flawless performance prompting a flood of tweets from celebrities and fans praising the mother-of-three.

Popstar Kary Perry was amazed after the powerful rendition of the 20-year-old Oscar-winning song by Dion and took to Twitter to express her emotions. "OMG @celinedion I HAVe always lived for you PLS BEAT YOUR CHEST AT THE END OF THIS PERFORMANXE," she tweeted to her 9.8 million followers.
