Jennifer Morrison, who plays Emma, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly previewed the introduction of frozen character in the show and talks about how she gets trapped in an ice cave.
"Everything is new and scary and throws her (Elsa) for a loop, which is what causes us to be in a situation where we're trapped under ice, and clearly, the cold doesn't bother her anyway, so she's okay," she said.
She continued: "I am very cold, because the cold does bother me! So, we have this problem where I'm freezing to death and she's not, and everyone's scrambling to figure out how to solve this problem. And the problem is basically caused by Elsa being extremely fearful and causing something she didn't intend to cause. It ultimately ends up to be something that connects us, but it puts everyone in danger for a minute."
Regina (Lana Parrilla) the evil queen, is depressed over her impending breakup with Robin Hood, and she locks herself away from the town and her son Henry.
The episode will also find Mary Margaret/Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) in a leadership role. With the townspeople considering Mary their leader, her first leadership task is "trying to re-start a generator and restore the town's electricity after Elsa freezes and damages the power lines."
Anna will make her way to the Enchanted Forest in the upcoming episode. In the Enchanted Forest of the past, "Anna tries to teach a meek David/Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) to fight Bo Peep, a brutal warlord who is threatening to take his and his mother's farm away if they don't pay her price."
