One Direction: Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson feuding over Zayn Malik Twitter spat?

Tensions are allegedly simmering within the One Direction camp as reports claim singer Harry Styles is furious with Louis Tomlinson for rowing with their former bandmate Zayn Malik on Twitter.

According to The Mirror, Styles, 21, believes that Tomlinson's online spat with Malik, 22, and his producer friend Naughty Boy, could ultimately damage 1D's reputation.

A source told the publication: "Harry is very aware of 1D's reputation and doesn't like getting into any public scrapes, especially with other members of the band.

"It's fair to say his relationship with Louis has been strained for some time and the last couple of weeks hasn't helped matters."

However, another insider has reportedly refuted the tension claims and told The Sun: "Harry and Louis are working together in the studio in Los Angeles on 1D's next album. They're fine."

The drama kicked off when Tomlinson, 23, appeared to post a negative comment about a photo of his former bandmate posing with La La La hitmaker Naughty Boy on Twitter, writing:

Shortly after, Bradford-born Malik then waded into the argument and surprisingly turned on his former 1D bandmate, writing:

The feud between Naughty Boy, 26, and Tomlinson has escalated since Malik quit One Direction in March and began working on solo material with the chart-topping producer.

Directioners have been surprised by the new feud between Malik and Tomlinson as they were considered to have the closest friendship within 1D.
