Oscar Pistorius has displayed a great deal of emotion during his trial for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Proceedings have been interrupted a number of times when he broke down in tears and even vomited.

Reeva's mother June, on the other hand, has sat there impassively as her daughter's killer delivered a tearful apology, betraying her emotions only when intimate text messages between the couple were read out.

In this gallery we examine Oscar Pistorius's emotions on display.
