Stars lit up The Nokia Theatre for the 38th annual People's Choice Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Wednesday for the People's Choice Awards which are actors' favourite as they are directly chosen by people through online voting.

This year's winners were selected through a record-breaking Gallup poll of over 230 million online votes mainly through the website of People's Choice and through social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter.

The awards are presented in categories like television, music and film. Actors like Nina Dobrev, Emma Stone, Demi Lovato and Robert Pattinson walked away with awards at an action-packed ceremony held on January 11, 2012.
