Sources close to the couple have revealed that Peter Andre (L) is expecting his third child with girlfriend Emily.

Singer Peter Andre and his girlfriend Emily MacDonagh are expecting their first child together, it has been announced.

The 40-year-old singer and the 23-year-old medical student are said to be 'absolutely thrilled' over the baby news.

"They absolutely adore each other, so having a baby together feels completely natural," a source told the Sun.

"As far as they are concerned they are going to spend the rest of their lives together and will definitely get married in the next year or so."

Andre is already dad to Princess and Junior from his relationship with ex-wife Katie Price. It will be MacDonagh's first child.

Rumours began circulating that MacDonagh was expecting after the Mysterious Girl hitmaker was seen placing his hand lovingly on her stomach at the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards at the London Hilton in June.

The couple started dating in 2012 after meeting through MacDonagh's father, a surgeon, who operated on the 'I'm A Celebrity' star in 2010 to remove kidney stones.

Peter has made no secret of his love for MacDonagh and has previously said he is impressed with the way she is with his two children.

"What impresses me the absolute most is the way she is with the kids," he said.

Price is currently around six months pregnant with her fourth child - her first with husband Kieran Hayler.
