German Striker Lukas Podolski has brushed aside all rumours of his transfer to Arsenal from his present club FC Köln, according to an ESPN report.

Earlier, there had been speculation that the 26-year-old striker was moving to the Gunners this summer, on a four-year contract, after Köln had reportedly accepted Arsenal's bid of £10.9 million.

However, now the 26-year-old striker claims that the two clubs have not yet reached an agreement on this matter

"Contrary to reports in the past few days, nothing has been decided yet. If there is something to report, then I'll do it," ESPN quoted Podolski as saying.

Also, Podolski's comments were backed by Volker Finke (Köln's former sporting director) who said that his club is yet to decide Podolski's future.

"The final die is not yet cast. It's part of the business and so it is generally agreed that only when the die is cast and everything is signed - when it comes to a transfer, as it is being discussed in the newspapers - only then can the parties involved make comments. It is still not settled and therefore we have no comment," ESPN quoted Finke as saying.

According to a Daily Mail report, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is also targeting Borussia Dortmund's teenage attacking midfielder Mario Gotze, who has a price tag of £25million.
