The phone hacking trial has dominated this week with David Cameron's former spin doctor Andy Coulson the only defendant found guilty.

The conviction saw the prime minister issuing a swift public apology for making a bad decision in employing him.

But that saw him rebuked by the judge for bringing the on-going trial close to collapse.

Meanwhile, in the Commons, Labour's Ed Miliband tried to pin Cameron down on why he had ignored repeated warnings over Coulson in the first place.
